The Speedo LZR Racer® Elite swimsuit is the choice of world class swimmers including Ryan Lochte (USA), James Magnussen (AUS) and Dana Vollmer (USA). For 2013, it has been updated with technical enhancements that will give competitive swimmers the edge on the blocks and in the pool, along with a distinctive and vibrant new look.

The latest version of the suit comes in response to consumer feedback which highlighted a demand for a wider choice of colourways, while Speedo’s global research and development team, Aqualab®, has applied several new technologies to further enhance the already popular swimsuit and help swimmers to swim faster for longer.
This has resulted in a significant improvement to the suit’s fabric, with the new LZR Racer Pulse+ fabric being 40% more durable in terms of its water repellency than the original version.

Whilst delivering this significant performance improvement, the 2013 version of the suit retains the comfortable and effective all-over compression of its predecessor, in an ultra-lightweight package that offers a familiar feel in the water. As well as Speedo’s core stabiliser design that maintains a strong body position in the water helping to achieve faster swimming form, for faster racing.

In addition to delivering world class performance in the pool, the new Speedo LZR Racer Elite 2 suit also helps swimmers to stand out on the blocks. Available in a number of contrasting colour combinations, including black and blue, black and purple, and vibrant purple and pink, the suit represents Speedo’s most eye-catching competitive swimwear to date. It is also available in classic black for those who prefer a more traditional look.
The Speedo logo is the hallmark of quality in competitive swimwear, and the iconic mark on the chest and leg of the LZR Racer Elite 2 will be unmissable at poolside and in the water due to a new reflective finish.
Sean Hastings, Vice President of Product and Marketing at Speedo International, said:
“We are delighted to unveil the latest Speedo LZR Racer Elite suit, delivering increased

water resistance, durability and vibrant new colourways, whilst retaining the attributes that made the previous version so popular among elite swimmers such as Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps.”
The new Speedo LZR Racer Elite 2 further enhances Speedo’s Fastskin® Racing System collection, a comprehensive choice of performance swimwear and equipment specifically engineered to work as one cohesive, head to toe Racing System. It comprises a wide choice of caps, goggles and suits developed to be used together, enabling swimmers to select the best combination of products to suit their own preferences and performance needs.
